Comments: For a full reference see Glenn Janes, Shabtis in a private view nr. 33, especially nr. 33b for the overseer. In addition I note that further examples are in Brussels, see Araujo page 572 as well as SC/21 with further comments on the usual text, Chapter 5 of the book of the death on the shabtis of this owner. However, this Amenope overseer has the common Chapter Six. All other published Amenope’s of this owner have the rare Chapter 5. However, there is another overseer in Princeton that is also inscribed with Chapter Six, according to Schneider who first commented on the fact that the shabtis of Amenemope are inscribed with Chapter Six and Chapter Five.
The craftmenship on this overseer is also excellent, best I have seen for this Amenemope.
