SC/74

Description

Name owner: –

Title owner: The Osiris

Dimensions (hxwxd): 7.9 x 2.5 x 2.1 cm

Translation hieroglyphs: The Osiris, M-?, true of voice

Preservation: Some wear, fire damage especially to the feet area, chip to feet

R-R: –

Provenance: German collection formed in the early 70’s.

Comments: This small shabti appears to haven been damaged by fire, shown at the feet area. If so, it is likely that the main part of the shabti was facing down in the sand, with only the feet being blackened in the fire.

The name of the owner is difficult to read. It appears to start with a M-owl, with plumes to its ears. The second glyph can no longer be read unfortunately. The text is applied in dark purple.
