Comments: Very nice 19th dyn. New Kingdom shabti in a very rare coloration of blue face, light blue (almost white base) and pigments in the face and hands in a shade of purple.  Under the microscope the original colour pops up as red.

It measures 5-3/4″ high and shows typical mummiform stance, hands held to chest, hoe held in each hand, seed sack on the reverse along with two vessels held by long cords, single panel of glyphs down the front panel. The name of the owner is in transliteration: “xny”.

No published examples are known to me. Another example is known to me as well with slightly different painting of the details and with the red paint much better visible.
