Comments: This fragment belongs to what once has been a beautiful piece. It is inscribed with horizontal lines of inscriptions around the body as well as one vertical line on the back side. The shape and style is very reminiscent of the Seti I shabtis and i believe that they came from the same workshop after comparing this example to a (yet) unpublished Seti I fragment.

The name Karo is quite common in the New Kingdom although spelled differently in some occasions. Allhough the name is difficult to read at both places where they are mentioned I believe the name is Karo written with the denying arms hieroglyph followed by the vertical stroke.

I have not found an exact parallel for this shabti yet.
