This impressive early New Kingdom shabti is from an unpublished small group of shabtis.

The shabti is complete and in good condition overall. The inscription is a bit worn and partly unreadable, with some wear to the glaze. However with the information from the other shabtis of this owner a full translation is provided as indentifying the shabti for Yay, high Priest of Letopolis with the rare title of "Mouth Opener of Horus, lord of Chem".
