This beautiful pale blue-green Egyptian Faience Ushabti is represented in mummiform with a lappet (tripartite) wig, a hoe and pick and a back over the shoulder. The T-shape register gives the name of the owner and his mother in
wonderful detail. The face has a noble expression. Beautiful example of Late period ushabti's.

Inscription: The illuminated one, the Osiris, Horpenaset, son of Asetsheshen.

Note: The name "Hor-pen-aset" means "Horus, the one of Isis" and "Aset-Sheshen" can be translated as "The Isis lotus".

Dimensions: 4.5" tall (11.4cm), width 1.1" (2.7cm), depth 0.75" (1.9cm)

Condition: Intact with natural discoloration. Clean break line just below the knees.
