Comments |
Parallels in Aubert Cache 2 nr. 38 and Tanis, L'or des Pharaons nr. 27.
L. Aubert makes a distinction in the shabtis for
Ga-w-seshen A and B, whereby the pretty high polished faience shabtis are attributed to Ga-w-seshen A and the less pretty shabtis with the lesse quality faience are for Ga-w-seshen B. Further specific charasteristics of Ga-w-seshen B shabtis are the wide arms making a clear X in the middle of the body (not intentionally with a specific purpose), the feet section is not straight but bend to the left slightly and the legs are not well formed.
Ga-w-seshen B was never-the-less an important lady. She was daughter of Men-Kheper-Ra, grand-daughter of the High Priest Men-Kheper-Ra. She was the niece of Ga-w-seshen A, Pinedjem II and Smendes (the husband of Ta-hen-neb-Khemenou).
