Further provenance: ex US collection.
This is a rare example of another shabti for the lady Tent-Shed-Khonsu, see SC/26 for the large female type. Schneider distinguished for types for this lady. Apart from the large female type of SC/26, this smaller female type exists, the small male type of Glenn Janes nr. 67 and the overseer type (see Ontario). Allthough breasts are modelled for SC/127, the wig is covering them.
A parallel study for the shabtis of the lady that will also deal with my theories on the variations of the writing of the name Ta-Shed-Khonsu versus Tent-Shed-Khonsu will be published separately online on shabticollections.com.
